I will plan a personalised learning program tailored to meet the needs, learning style, interests and strengths of your child.

I provide fun, practical, hands-on resources and multi sensory experiences.

I use an ‘explicit teaching’ approach – I explain to children what they will be learning and why and lessons are presented in a clear manner at an engaging pace.

I sequence lessons so concepts are taught in a logical, well-planned order with new skills building on previously mastered skills.

I specialise in Early Years Teaching – educating children aged 3 to 8 years old – in Kindergarten, Prep, Years 1 and 2.

I can give you tips and tricks for engaging learners in early years classrooms.

I can step you through a sequential approach to teaching basic maths strategies … starting with hands-on manipulatives to support concept development then moving through to the mental computation strategies that all little learners need to help them succeed in maths.

I will show you how to plan your maths content out over a term and within each week. I’ll support you to design whole class, small group and independent maths experiences to allow the time and repeated exposure little learners need to absorb concepts.

I offer differentiated resources to support the full rainbow spectrum of students in your class – those working ‘at’ their expected year level as well as the little learners who require support and the ones who crave extra challenge!

I can provide you with ready-to-go maths worksheets, foldables and posters to systemise your maths instruction so you cover all of the core addition content of the Australian Curriculum. My explicit teaching sequence always builds on what children have already learned to support them in taking the next step forward.
