I can give you tips and tricks for engaging learners in early years classrooms.

I can step you through a sequential approach to teaching basic maths strategies … starting with hands-on manipulatives to support concept development then moving through to the mental computation strategies that all little learners need to help them succeed in maths.

I will show you how to plan your maths content out over a term and within each week. I’ll support you to design whole class, small group and independent maths experiences to allow the time and repeated exposure little learners need to absorb concepts.

I offer differentiated resources to support the full rainbow spectrum of students in your class – those working ‘at’ their expected year level as well as the little learners who require support and the ones who crave extra challenge!

I can provide you with ready-to-go maths worksheets, foldables and posters to systemise your maths instruction so you cover all of the core addition and subtraction content of the Australian Curriculum. My explicit teaching sequence always builds on what children have already learned to support them in taking the next step forward.
